Would it be weird if I told you it feels like I can see my baby turning into a little girl right before my very eyes? Even though, she still VERY MUCH is a baby? There are no words to explain the amount of fun we're having right now. She's like this little ball of constant energy, excitement, and curiosity all rolled into one. She is desperate to crawl. And by desperate, I mean I've never seen anybody want something so bad, and work for it so hard. She has the leg part down, but is still working on those little arms. Mostly, she'll start inching her legs forward until she gets herself into a downward facing dog position, but Joe saw her crawl backwards a bit last week, so I know she's almost there. Now that she's on solids, it's impossible to eat around her without offering her something to have as well. I've learned the hard way that I have to pack something for her every time we go to a restaurant now. Some of her current favorite things include hugging (seriously, the girl must hug me at least a hundred times a day), extra long baths, swinging, being sung to (this makes me realize how much she loves me, because if you heard my singing voice, you'd probably cry), sitting on her dad's shoulders, peekaboo, high fives (she doesn't always get it right, but when she does, she's SO proud of herself), and sucking on pizza crust. I am realizing that there is absolutely no limit to the amount of love a parent has for their child; It just keeps growing, and growing, and GROWING.

*Don't mind her drool stain. We are, after all, dealing with some serious teething. On that note, thanks for all your awesome suggestions! We went out and bought some of those Hyland's tablets and one of those raspberry suckers, and both worked WONDERS. The next day was so bad, that we did end up giving her a little tylenol, but she was much better soon after. And as for the coconut oil, genius idea! It's been working splendidly. :)

  3. You should try the amber teething necklaces for babies and toddlers...my 8 month old has been wearing one for the past 4 months - given to me by a friend...and I swear it works. I only wish that I had used it with my 3 year old! Try Babies by the Sea in Cardiff.

  5. She remains out of control cute. I love that she is desparately trying to crawl. I see some of the same in my Zoe, she grunts and grunts and tries to shift position. Love does grow.
