{my two little guys, they get along great right now, anyways)
Today is two things: 1) My last day at work. 2) If you want to get technical, my "due date". (Honestly I wish the maternity care world would do away with that term all together. But since they have not, I can't help but acknowledge it.) I still think we have a week left, easy. The little guy is still floating happily above my pelvis. As I mentioned, I put away my to do list a couple of weeks ago. But in order to keep away boredom and anxiety of when is he coming I do have a list of want to do stuff. I might do all of it, or none of it. (Okay, the walking and stretching is pretty mandatory, and the reading is a given.) But when I do *nothing* I tend to get in a funk. No one wants that. So here is how I might be spending the next week or two.
*Buy a plant for the baby's room
*Shop for dog beds
*Read the Sunday Times
*Enjoy the warm, sunny weekend
*Make a mobile
*Hang out with Ben
*photograph the baby's room for the blog
*play some ping pong

*go to the used gear sale
*Edit my brothers wedding photos
*Work on a baby announcement
*Walk, walk, walk
*Stretch, stretch, stretch
*Visit with friends
*Continue to organize our photo collection
*Read
*Try to sew something
(and lots of rest, OF COURSE)
ha, he will come before you know it. elodie was 4 days 'late' - enjoy the small amount of time and the one thing i would recommend of all of the above is buying a plant and organizing your photo collection. that was the best time i ever spent and you will most likely not do it after because you will be organizing all the baby photos!!
ReplyDeletehave a beautiful weekend jamie!!
Wow, 40 weeks! I totally want to see nursery pictures. And, OMG, I can't believed that you worked until your due date! You are intense ;) Take care xox
ReplyDeleteLOVE the photo!
ReplyDeleteDon't forget to add "sleep" to the list. You won't be getting a lot of that once baby comes...
Enjoy the adventure!
