Sitting in our lounge chair is just about the only thing I find comfortable these days. I avoided it for so long because apparently, staying in a reclined position for too long isn't very good for breech babies. They tend to get a little too comfortable themselves, and just don't bother turning upside down. I'm quite certain this baby has finally found its way down though, and where I once felt a head, now feels more like a bottom. (yay!) So for the past few nights, while I wait for Joe to come home from work, I nestle into the chair with a glass of water and my current baby book while the baby kicks and tumbles away. I'm pretty sure we've passed our night owl genes down to this little one.

Love this belly shot! Also, the carpet.
ReplyDeleteI really like this shot. I also like that in all your photos you're holding/touching your belly. It's super sweet and makes me really happy.
ReplyDeletelovely. so very lovely.
ReplyDeleteIsn't it funny how the baby gets so active when you get inactive? And, just so it doesn't come as a shock, it takes them a while OUTSIDE the womb to figure out that they need to switch that around ;) It's so good to hear that you're resting!
ReplyDeleteI don't know if it's already on your list but Baby 411 was my favorite book. The title is awful and it says something like, "As seen on Rachel Ray!" on the cover (blech) but it's not scary or out there hippy dippy. It's easy to read and gets to the point, which is helpful when you want the answer RIGHT NOW (is that poop color/quality/size normal?!)
ReplyDeletethis one is soooo cute, c.
ReplyDeletewish we had a lounge chair....
You have the cutest pregnant belly I have ever seen. It's so perfectly round! And looks great in stripes.
ReplyDeleteMy last month was spent sitting on our lounge couch with books, food, water and a laptop. I was very happy! :)
