Help dress this nakid baby! We have been relying on these carter's PJs for bedtime. They are innexpensive, 100% cotton, and we like that they are footed, especially for winter! But they only go up to 9 months, and at 7 months H is rapidly outgrowing them. We need to stock up, as we go through sometimes 2 a night! (We are still having leak issues.) Can you suggest any footed PJs that won't break the bank if we want to stock up on a handfull? (Bonus points for natutal material like cotton or wool, and also anything without garish colors or designs. I know I am dreaming. Why do the simplest baby clothes always cost the most?)

  1. Have you tried a childrens consignment shop? I have found awesome stuff at those for great prices. Hanna Andersson, etc.

  3. For leaking with cloth (I think that you're using them, but I forget), I've had amazing results with the stay dry hemp doublers from green mountain http://www.greenmountaindiapers.com/doublers.htm. We have 4 and they work through the whole night. No midnight diaper changes, and no rash either. Good luck!

  4. ooh, I've switched Rex to carter's zip front footed pajamas - they go up to 24 months and beyond, I think? BUT, they aren't 100 percent cotton, so maybe that isn't what you're looking for. The plus's being, they are cheap and do keep him super warm during the cold season and the zippers are so convientent for those middle of the night changes.

  5. Oh! We just solved this same problem! We are loving the fit of Leveret footed jammies. I get them on Amazon for 11 bucks! Also, we use GroVia cloth dipes and have had great success with their organic booster. It's kind of fleecy so it keeps her feeling dry while providing extra absorbancy. No problems at night for us at all! I also got those on Amazon. I bought one pack since we wash every other day and are doing fine with that.
